What Is MPG?

 

What is MPG, you ask. Well MPG stands for Miles Per Gallon, which is the number of miles you can drive per gallon of gasoline. Gas mileage is typically expressed in two numbers, highway and city. You might look at these numbers and think where people came up with this, but the EPA has special laboratories where they intensely test vehicles to come up with a car's MPG.

 

The rigorous process?

Are you a 2004 through 2010 Jeep owner? Chrysler recently announced that they are recalling about 468,700 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Commanders. The recall is caused from an electrical fault in the transfer case that can allow the affected SUVs to shift into neutral all on their own.

 

If the vehicle shifts into neutral, it may roll away increasing the risk of crash or injury.
