The 2017 Dodge Journey has two engine options: the standard 2.4L 16-Valve Four-Cylinder engine and the available 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. The 2.4L engine is mated to an automatic transmission that produces 174 horsepower, 166 lb-ft of torque, 25 highway mpg and has a driving range of up to 512 miles on one tank of gas. The 3.6L engine works with a six-speed automatic transmission to deliver 238 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque and up to 25 highway mpg.
