2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in Shreveport, LA

The Grand Wagoneer is Jeep's full size, three row flagship, and 2026 is its biggest reset since the nameplate returned. Lower starting price, a standard Hurricane twin turbo six, and a trim ladder you can actually explain. Hebert's Town & Country, the family owned CDJR store on East Bert Kouns, has it on the ground now.

What is new on the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

For 2026, Jeep pulled the Wagoneer sub brand back under the Jeep badge, dropped the starting price by roughly $20,000, and cut the lineup to three core trims, each offered in two lengths.

The refresh shows before you open a door. A slimmer illuminated seven slot grille, new LED lighting front and rear, wheel designs from 18 to 22 inches, and for the first time, Jeep badging on the body itself. Exterior chrome is gone. So is the old Series I, II, and III naming.

The standalone Wagoneer is retired. What remains is one nameplate with a clean walk: Grand Wagoneer, Limited, and Summit, each available as a stretched L. A range extended electric version has been announced for late availability, but every truck on our lot today runs the gas Hurricane.

What engine does the 2026 Grand Wagoneer have?

Every 2026 Grand Wagoneer runs a 3.0 liter Hurricane twin turbo inline six rated at 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight speed automatic.

One engine, all trims, built in Warren, Michigan. The twin turbos do their best work down low, so the truck steps off the line with the kind of shove that used to require a V8, and it does it quietly.

The base trim can be ordered in 4x2 for the lowest entry price. Every 4x4 carries Quadra-Trac I full time four wheel drive with Selec-Terrain traction management, and a two speed Quadra-Trac II transfer case is available for weekends that involve mud or a launch ramp. Standard length trucks carry a 26.5 gallon tank. The L holds 30.5 gallons, which matters on an I-20 run to Dallas or a haul down I-49.

How much can the Grand Wagoneer tow?

Properly equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, the 2026 Grand Wagoneer tows up to 10,000 pounds, a figure Jeep bills as best in class.

The tow package is available on every trim, not just the expensive ones. Torque peaks early, which is what you feel backing a bass boat down the ramp at Cross Lake or pulling a camper out of Toledo Bend on a Sunday afternoon: the truck leans into the load instead of hunting for a gear.

Available Quadra-Lift air suspension, standard on Summit, levels the rear with a trailer on the hitch. Pair that with the 30.5 gallon tank on the L and you can tow past Alexandria before thinking about fuel. Bring your trailer's loaded weight with you and we will spec the right package, hitch, and wiring in the same visit.

What is the Grand Wagoneer like inside?

The cabin centers on a 12 inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with navigation, leather seating on every trim, and front seats that are heated and ventilated even on the base truck.

The 12 inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen anchors every 2026 Grand Wagoneer; Summit adds a passenger display.

Sit in one and the first impression is quiet. The second is the screen count. All trims get the 12 inch center touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 10.25 inch digital cluster, with an available 12.3 inch upgrade on Limited that comes standard on Summit. Summit also offers a head up display, a front passenger display, and dual screen rear seat entertainment for the second row.

Materials climb the ladder honestly. Capri leather on the base truck, Nappa on Limited, premium Nappa on Summit with available quilted Palermo hides and 24 way power front seats. Ventilated front seats come standard everywhere, which is worth real money in a Shreveport August, and Summit adds four zone climate plus an available cooler in the front console.

The audio walk matters here. The base Alpine nine speaker system is fine. The available McIntosh setup is the reason people option up: 19 speakers standard on Summit and available on Limited, with a 23 speaker McIntosh system available on Summit. Same badge you see on home amplifiers that cost as much as a used car.

Do the second and third rows have real space?

Yes. Second row captain's chairs are standard on every trim, second row legroom measures 42.7 inches, and the third row offers 36.6 inches of legroom with close to 39 inches of headroom.

Second row captain's chairs are standard on every trim, with 36.6 inches of third row legroom behind them.

This is a third row adults will actually ride in. Headroom holds up because the roofline stays tall all the way back, and the available Tri-Pane panoramic roof, standard on Summit, opens glass over all three rows. That changes how the way back feels on a long drive.

The 60/40 third row power folds flat on every trim. Prefer eight seats? A second row bench is available across the board. And if you regularly carry seven people and their gear at the same time, the L stretch adds a foot of body length, and the gain shows up as cargo room behind the third row, so nobody's duffel rides in a lap on the way to hunting camp.

Which 2026 Grand Wagoneer trim should you buy?

The ladder is three trims deep: Grand Wagoneer, Limited, and Summit. Every one of them is offered as a long wheelbase L for $3,000 more.

Why buy your Grand Wagoneer from Hebert's Town & Country?

Hebert's has been family owned in Shreveport since 1981, and that shapes everything about how a purchase this size gets handled.

A Grand Wagoneer is a serious check to write. Writing it at a store where the owners work the same building as the sales desk changes the experience. There is no regional office three states away deciding how your deal gets structured. Questions get answered by people whose family name is on the sign out front.

The inventory is here, physically, on East Bert Kouns. Every listing carries real photos of the actual unit, so the truck you see online is the truck you walk up to. And because this store has served Shreveport and Bossier City for four decades and counting, including plenty of families from Barksdale, the relationship does not end at delivery. It starts there.

Read more about the store on our Why Buy From Hebert's page, or start a finance application before you visit.

The illuminated seven slot grille is new for 2026, the first year the body wears a Jeep badge.

What is ownership like after the sale?

Every new 2026 Grand Wagoneer carries a 3 year or 36,000 mile basic limited warranty and a 5 year or 60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, with roadside assistance through the powertrain period.

Warranty and maintenance work happens in our Mopar service department, staffed by factory trained technicians who work on Wagoneers weekly, with a Mopar parts counter in the same building. You can schedule service online and plan around your day instead of ours.

One program note worth knowing before you shop: Jeep retired the Jeep Wave owner program after the 2025 model year. For 2026 vehicles, the factory backed protection and maintenance option is FlexCare, and our finance team can walk you through what it covers before delivery.

2026 Grand Wagoneer questions Shreveport buyers ask

How much does a 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer cost?

The 2026 Grand Wagoneer starts at $62,145 MSRP for the 4x2 model and tops out at $96,390 for the Summit L, before the $2,595 destination charge. That starting price is roughly $20,000 lower than the 2025 model year. Live pricing on every Grand Wagoneer at Hebert's Town & Country is posted on our new inventory page.

What is the difference between the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer?

For 2026, Jeep retired the standalone Wagoneer and consolidated the full size lineup under the Grand Wagoneer name. Every trim now comes in a standard wheelbase and a long wheelbase L, so the choice is about trim level and length rather than two separate models. If you see a leftover 2025 Wagoneer on a lot, that is the outgoing model this lineup replaces.

How much can the Grand Wagoneer tow?

Up to 10,000 pounds when properly equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, which is available on every trim. The Hurricane engine's 468 lb-ft of torque arrives low in the rev range, which is exactly what you feel pulling a boat up a wet ramp.

Is the Grand Wagoneer's third row big enough for adults?

Yes. The third row has 36.6 inches of legroom and about 39 inches of headroom, enough for grown passengers on real trips, not just kids on short hops. The 60/40 third row power folds flat, and the long wheelbase L adds serious cargo room behind it.

How many people can the Grand Wagoneer seat?

Seven in the standard layout, with second row captain's chairs on every trim. An available second row bench raises capacity to eight. Either way, the power folding third row keeps the cargo floor flexible when seats need to disappear.

What warranty comes with a new Grand Wagoneer?

Every new 2026 Grand Wagoneer carries a 3 year or 36,000 mile basic limited warranty and a 5 year or 60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, with roadside assistance through the powertrain period. Warranty work is handled by the Mopar service department here on East Bert Kouns.

Why buy from a family owned dealership like Hebert's?

Because the people who own the store are the same people accountable for how you are treated, and they live where you live. Hebert's Town & Country has been family owned in Shreveport since 1981, so your Grand Wagoneer comes with a service department, a parts counter, and ownership that will still know your name at the first oil change. The decision makers are in the building, not in an out of state corporate office.

Does Hebert's have the Grand Wagoneer in stock in Shreveport?

Yes. Our new Grand Wagoneer inventory sits on the lot at 1155 East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, and every unit is listed with real photos, not stock images. Check current inventory online or call sales at 318-703-2953 to confirm a specific trim or color before you drive over.
