Introducing the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition

September 13th, 2018 by

The introduction of the new 2018 Wrangler JL body style earlier this year was welcomed by Jeep enthusiasts everywhere. It’s got a cool refreshed look for the new generation and more open-air options than ever. Now, the Wrangler JL has its first special edition in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition.

The 2018 Wrangler Moab is a limited edition that pays homage to the more than 50-year tradition of technical off-roading in Moab, Utah, the Easter Jeep Safari. The weeklong event draws Jeepers from all over the globe for rides on some of the most beautiful trails the U.S. has to offer.

The Wrangler Moab Edition is based on the Wrangler Sahara and it borrows a few things from the top-of-the-line Rubicon. It has a Rubicon hood and steel bumpers with removable end caps, aggressive 32-inch mud-terrain tires, LED headlights and taillights, Moab hood decal and 17-inch Rubicon wheels in Low-Gloss Black. The tow hooks, grille throats and headlight surrounds are also painted Low-Gloss Black. Wrangler Moab will have standard Rubicon rock rails, while Sahara side steps are available at no additional charge. A body-color hard top is also standard, and the Dual Top Group and Sky One-Touch power top are available.

The 2018 Wrangler Moab will come in nine factory colors: Firecracker Red, Ocean Blue Metallic, Sting Gray, Bright White, Black, Mojito!, Punk’n Metallic, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal.

Heading to the inside, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition a Leather Interior Group that includes leather-trimmed seats and a leather-wrapped dashboard with contrast stitching. Moab comes with a Safety Group as well, and it includes Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection and ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines. Other standard features are Selec-Trac full-time two-speed transfer case, Trac-Lock limited-slip rear differential, Passive Keyless Entry, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with navigation, nine-speaker premium Alpine sound system and all-weather slush mats.

The standard features are pretty sweet, and so are the available ones. The 2018 Wrangler Moab Edition has an optional Trailer Tow and Rail cargo management system as well as a Cold Weather Group with remote start and heated front seats and steering wheel.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab sounds awesome and we can’t wait to see it in action. Hopefully, it will be tearing up the trails at next year’s Easter Jeep Safari. It’s sure to be a hit here at Hebert’s Town & Country
