Dodge Brings Back Sublime Green for Challenger, Charger
Spring is ahead and we’re probably all looking forward to warmer temperatures and not having to cart around and wear big coats and jackets. Dodge is looking forward to spring too as they have brought back the color Sublime for 2019 Challenger and Charger models. Sublime is a heritage-inspired color and will be available for the first time on the Charger Scat Pack, Charger SRT Hellcat and Challenger Widebody models. Sublime is returning for the Challenger T/A for the first time since 1970.
Sublime was initially introduced on all Dodge vehicles, except for the Polara and Monaco, during the 1970 model year. Dodge produced a limited number of Charger R/T Daytona models in Sublime in 2007 and the color was available across the 2015 Challenger lineup as well.
Steve Beahm, FCA North America Head of Passenger Car Brands is excited for what the return of the color means for customers.
“Our Dodge//SRT muscle cars give our customers what they want, an incredibly wide variety of performance models and high-impact color options,” Beahm said in a statement. “Whether it’s Sublime paint, all-wheel-drive capability or 797 horsepower, Charger and Challenger stand out. By bringing back a high-impact color like Sublime across the 2019 Challenger and Charger lineups, we’re continuing to give our enthusiastic customers another way to make their muscle cars even more unique when they showcase the legendary Dodge performance attitude.”
Sublime joins other high-impact colors TorRed, Plum Crazy, F8 Green, Go Mango and B5 Blue.
