2022 Dodge Durango R/T Hemi Orange

The Hemi Orange paint job is synonymous with Dodge muscle cars and is hard to miss. It’s iconic on the General Lee, which is a well-known 1969 Dodge Charger featured in the hit TV show Dukes of Hazzard. The 2022 Dodge Durango R/T will now get the upgraded Hemi Orange package that consists of orange and black striping that starts at the leading edge of the hood and stretches all the way to the end of the trunk lid. The Hemi Orange package first appeared on the Dodge Charger and Challenger but will now be available on the Durango R/T. “The Durango has a muscle-car attitude, and the eye-catching HEMI Orange appearance embraces the Dodge performance DNA that is our foundation,” Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.

Dodge makes some really cool packages for its vehicles like this Hemi Orange Package and the infamous SRT Black Package. The 2022 Dodge Durango R/T Hemi Orange Package is the perfect package on an SUV for those looking for a vehicle to turn heads wherever it goes. The exterior features a warm orange paint job and Hemi badging on each fender. Hemi Orange is not going to be the Durango’s full exterior color, but it will be painted as a pinstripe across Dodge Durango R/Ts that are in the colors Destroyer Gray, Diamond Black, Octane Red and White Knuckle. 

Hemi Orange & SRT Black Packages

This vehicle will really turn heads as you navigate through traffic, thanks to the SRT front seats, second-row captain’s chairs and the third row, all of which are stitched in orange with the Dodge “Rhombi” seatback logo. Orange stitching will also run throughout the interior, accenting the steering wheel, center console lid, shifter boot, armrest, instrument panels and the upper sections of the doors.

Additional to the Hemi Orange Package, the Durango will also have an available Hemi Orange Plus Package and Hemi Orange Tow N Go Package. The Hemi Orange Plus Package will come with a sunroof, 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, advanced safety features and more. The Hemi Orange Tow N Go Package will include 20-inch wheels, performance exhaust, orange Brembo brake calipers, Bilstein shocks and more. This package gives the 2022 Durango the ability to tow up to 8,700 pounds with its class IV trailer hitch. 

Under the hood of the 2022 Dodge Durango R/T Hemi Orange there will be Dodge’s famous 5.7-liter V8. This Hemi will provide 360 horsepower with 390 lb.-ft. of torque. With this engine, the 2022 Durango R/T achieved a 0-60 run time of 6.2 seconds!
