Fall 2021 Events Around Shreveport
The fall season is right around the corner! Crisp cool air touches our faces and our taste buds are blessed with the familiar pumpkin and cinnamon flavors that we adore. Are you an autumn lover? Take advantage of everything this season has to offer by exploring some popular events around the Shreveport, Louisiana area!
One of the upcoming events is Prize Fest 2021. This event is held Friday, September 24; Saturday, September 25; Thursday, September 30; Friday, October 1; and Saturday, October 2. Tickets are $10 and up. You can expect to see short film screenings, live music, exemplary cuisine and cocktails, fashion runway exhibitions, a live comedy show, and of course a good time!
It wouldn’t be the fall season without a haunted house. The Mutiny at Shreveport A-Scare-Ium is held for the entire month of October, from the 1st to the 31st. They tout the event to be a “Haunted Pirate Adventure with chills, thrills and of course, gills!” Here is a description of what you can expect! “Families and all ages welcome! Lads and lassies will be recruited to our pirate crew. Make your way through the aquarium learning pirate skills and stamping them off on yer pirate passport. Along the way discover bat stars, wolf eels and all kinds of cool and creepy sea creatures, mermaid stories, sing-a-longs and other Halloween surprises. Once you’ve completed yer tasks, meet the Pirate Captain and get yer loot from his treasure chest.”
The Red River Revel Arts Festival will be held from Saturday, October 2 through Sunday, October 10. Admission is $5 for general admission and $10 for a nine-day reveler pass. You can expect to see the best in art, food, music, and family fun. There are even some headlining concerts that you will not want to miss!
