It’s Halloween season, a wonderful time of cooler weather and leaves changing colors. Both are signs that Halloween is just around the corner. With Halloween comes a few fun tricks, but a lot of treats, including hayrides, carnivals, and fun times with the family, especially here in the Shreveport area. MUTINY AT SHREVEPORT A-SCARE-IUM

Aaaarrrrgggghhhh, mateys, there be spooks and phantom-led mutiny a-brewin’ at the Shreveport Aquarium’s Mutiny, a haunted pirate adventure! Experience ghost ships with their zombie crews and ancient sea monsters like the Kraken. There are both day-time tours and night-time tours at the A-Scare-ium! Click above to get your tickets.

Due to social distancing guidelines, this year’s SBC Zombie Walk will feature fan-favorite zombie films screened outdoors in the East Bank Plaza! Reservations for sitting areas for each movie are required for these showings at $5 per family, per spot. You will also have the opportunity to make a donation to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana or to LifeShare Blood Center, both of which will be onsite! Social Distancing guidelines will be enforced for this event and updated as we all progress through this pandemic.

Celebrate the arrival of the season by visiting DixieMaze Farms’ Fall Festival! They have loads of farm activities for the whole family. To celebrate Halloween they have a haunted corn maze, The Field of Screams. Or you can take your chances and follow the eerie haunted path, The Trail of Terror. Both thrilling family activities run every Friday and Saturday night through October 31st and are available to anyone.
