FCA’s Upcoming Electrified Vehicle Lineup

It’s no secret that electric vehicles are becoming the wave of the future. Luckily, we are making electric vehicles fun here at Hebert’s Town & Country Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! Dodge is a company of performance muscle cars, Chrysler makes safe and smart vehicles for your family, Jeep is known for its legendary off-roader status, and a Ram truck can tow almost anything. Converting some of these vehicles to partial or fully electric is not going to lose its true purpose of what they’re capable of.
First of all, we have to bust the myth that electric cars are difficult to live with on a daily basis. Once the driver is properly educated on how to care for their electric vehicle, it makes living with an EV incredibly easy. For example, have you ever been running late to work and then on top of that you had to stop for gas?! When you have home charging available for your electric vehicle, you leave the house every morning with a full tank and ample charge to handle all your daily destinations. When traveling long distances, there are apps and routing services that plan your fast-charging stops to make sure you never run out of charge and you always have charging solutions on the way. Not to mention, filling up your vehicle with electricity can cost an average of $5-15 for a full charge which is so much cheaper than a full tank of gasoline.
Currently, Jeep and Chrysler both offer partial hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). These come in the form of 4xe and Pacifica hybrid options. You can plug these vehicles in and run them on just electric power or you can use them like a traditional hybrid vehicle with a gasoline engine. You have the option to run on a combination of gasoline and electricity. Jeep is expanding the 4xe line to include more models as well as fully electric options in the upcoming years. Dodge has announced that it will be producing a fully electric muscle car coming around 2024. We also expect to see a fully electric Ram truck coming around the same time.
We are excited to see the future of electric vehicles and how they change our driving habits for the better! Stop by Hebert’s Town & Country for a demonstration of how our current hybrid electric vehicles drive!
