Mopar Announces 2018 “Top Tech” Award Winners
You buy a car from your salesperson once. You might see or speak with them every once in a while, but the people in service are who you build the most relationships with after buying your car. Finding a technician you like and trust to service and repair your vehicle is so important. They’re basically the unsung heroes of every dealership.
Mopar has recognized the technicians who go above and beyond with their annual 2018 Mopar “Top Tech” awards. Earlier this month, Mopar honored 100 technicians out of 26,000 eligible candidates from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles dealerships throughout the United States.
This is the fifth year for the “Top Tech” awards and the program aims to identify and recognize the best of the best technicians at FCA dealerships throughout the country. Customer satisfaction surveys, dealership tenure, training achievements and Fixed First Visit data are all criteria used to determine the best technicians.
“Technicians play a central role in the success of our business,” FCA Head of Parts and Service Pietro Gorlier said in a press release. “As technology in our vehicles continues to evolve, it is essential to properly train and recognize our technicians so they can provide a quick and efficient service and enhance customer satisfaction. The Mopar ‘Top Tech’ program not only shines a light on the best and brightest in our service lane, but also holds them up as a positive example for all our technicians.
All 100 winners received a Snap-On BluePoint technical tool cart, Snap-On cordless ratchet and video inspection scope.
Of the 100, 27 traveled to Detroit this past January for a ceremony and to tour the FCA US headquarters.
