The Different Top Options Available on New Jeep Models

Summer is right around the corner which means it’s almost time for topless Jeep season! You might think that the Wrangler is the only Jeep vehicle that allows you to take the top off but several of our new Jeep models allow you to experience the warm Lousiana air!

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler might be the first Jeep model that comes to mind when you think of topless Jeep driving. The new Wrangler gives you the most flexibility of top options. The basic top option is the standard black cloth soft top. The soft top allows you to easily throw the top back, slide out the windows, and be on your way! If you want a little more security and stability, the three-piece Freedom hardtop is the most popular choice. It comes in either black or body color and features glass windows in the back with a rear defroster. You can easily pop off the two front pieces and stow them away but fully removing the back portion requires unbolting the top and the manpower of a couple of your friends. Some people choose to install a lift in their garage for the top which is a great alternative! The Unlimited-exclusive Sky One-Touch roof is the simplest way to feel the wind in your hair. With the touch of one button, the cloth portion retracts all the way back like a giant full-length sunroof. The two rear windows can easily be popped out for ultimate airflow.

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator takes a play out of the Wrangler’s book but with the added flexibility of a truck bed. The Gladiator offers the same black cloth soft top or the black or body color three-piece Freedom hardtop as the Wrangler.

All other new Jeep models have an optional dual-pane glass panoramic sunroof that allows a ton of light to come into the cabin but opens up for a good amount of airflow into the cabin.
