The Return of the Voyager

July 10th, 2019 by

The Voyager, Chrysler and Plymouth’s popular minivan, has risen from the ashes. The minivan saw a long production run, lasting from 1988 to 2016. Eventually, the Voyager name was retired and the Pacifica quickly rose to fame in the world of Chrysler minivans. However, the Voyager is making its return, this time providing its name to the Pacifica L, LX and the Pacifica fleet-sales targeted LXi models.

Expect the Voyager to include all of the goodies that you’ve grown to know and love about the Pacifica. Standard seven-passenger seating, the award-winning Pentastar V6 gasoline engine, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will grace the Voyager and provide major incentives to families looking for spacious vehicles. In a press release from FCA (FIAT Chrysler Automobiles), the company announced that the Voyager will offer mobility options for wheelchair accessibility and ease of entry and exit.

The 2020 Chrysler Voyager will come available in Billet Metallic, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, Bright White Clear, Granite Crystal Metallic, Jazz Blue Pearl and Velvet Red Pearl paint coats. Consumers will have options available to customize their interior with Black, Toffee or Alloy cloth seating in L and LX models, while Ultratech leatherette will be available for all XLi models.

Here at Hebert’s Town and Country, we couldn’t be more excited to see the Voyager back on the market– even if it’s just an upgrade for the well-loved name. Production on the 2020 Pacifica and Voyager are expected to kick-in next month. Can’t wait for the return of the Voyager?
