Tips For Keeping the Holiday Spirit Up | Hebert’s Town & Country

Christmas is over and New Years is in just a few days, but does that mean we have to stop celebrating? Nope. Even though it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas thanks to the weather, we’re still going to keep up the holiday spirit with our favorite pastimes. Here at Hebert's Town And Country Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we’ll keep up the Christmas cheer by offering you incredible savings with our Big Finish 2016 New Inventory Specials. We’ve also put together a few suggestions for your family to keep up the holiday spirit.

1. Don’t put away the Christmas albums just yet. “Let It Snow,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and “Sleigh Ride” are a few songs that are about the winter and holiday season, not just Christmas. But if you’re not ready to store your Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and Pentatonix albums just yet, keep them out for a bit longer. We suggest turning up the volume to “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Santa Baby” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and singing along with the whole family.

2. Have a Christmas movie night. Movies like “Holiday Inn,” “Elf,” “Home Alone” and “White Christmas” are classics for a reason. Pick out a film to watch with the family and make some popcorn. If you’re looking for a movie to get into the New Years spirit, check out “New Year’s Eve” or “Sunset Boulevard.”

3. Check out the Christmas lights. December is filled with shopping and wrapping presents, coordinating visits with family, catching up on work and other things. If you weren’t able to take a drive through yours and other neighborhoods to view the twinkling lights on roofs and in yards, pile the family in the car and go for a drive.

4. Cook together. Holiday dinners don’t have to stop with a ham and all the fixings at Christmas. Play Christmas music in the kitchen and cook up a batch of traditional food to bring luck in the new year like black-eyed peas or other beans, lentils and greens.
