Concepts for Easter Jeep Safari, Volume 1
April is a busy month, but a fun month. It’s time to handle all the spring cleaning, sit back and let the rain fertilize our grass, plants and flowers and, of course, it’s time to celebrate the colorful Easter holiday. To celebrate, every year Jeep goes all out with its lineup of 4×4 concept vehicles for Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. This year, Jeep is bringing some of the concepts that premiered at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. In this blog, we’re talking about the Jeep Wrangler Magento Concept 2.0, Jeep D-Coder Concept by Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) and the Jeep Birdcage Concept by JPP.
There are seven total concept vehicles, but we couldn’t fit them all in one blog! When you’re done here, check out Volume 2 so you can read about the Jeep ‘41 Concept, Jeep Bob Concept, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe Concept and the Jeep Rubicon 20th Anniversary Concept. Your friends at Hebert’s Town and Country Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Shreveport, Louisiana have all the details!
The Easter Jeep Safari is an annual event hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club that began in 1967 by the Moab Chamber of Commerce in Utah. A nine-day event through the Moab, Utah trails, the most extreme off-road vehicles come to test their grit and capabilities on some of the toughest trails in America.
This year’s Easter Jeep Safari models are, in our humble opinion, cooler than any other year’s models. Here are the first three!
Jeep Wrangler Magento 2.0 Concept
This concept is the second of its kind! The original Magneto Concept debuted last year at the 2021 Easter Jeep Safari but this year’s version is way better! It can go from zero to 60 mph in around two seconds, which is about four seconds quicker than the original. Also, the Magneto 2.0 can pump out 625 horsepower and 850 lb.-ft. of torque. What a machine!
Jeep D-Coder Concept by JPP
Next, we have the Jeep D-Coder Concept by JPP. The D-Coder Concept comes in Gloss Black and carries more than 35 JPP and Mopar accessories. Each part is painted in vibrant contrasting Maraschino Red and labeled with QR codes. Each QR code is scannable and provides a live link to the Mopar eStore for specific part numbers, specifications and pricing information. The Jeep D-Coder Concept has a two-inch lift kit, a JPP snorkel and a Jeep Gorilla Glass windshield that’s three times stronger than a standard windshield. This concept screams intense!
Jeep Birdcage Concept by JPP
This concept is a wide-open-air extreme 4×4 machine. It presents a variety of custom accessory innovations from JPP and Mopar, while also providing the best capability as well as its class-exclusive, off-road Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain. For improved front approach angle, the Wrangler 4xe Birdcage has a custom rock-slider skid plate that connects two rounded two-inch steel support bars. The slider plate guards the recessed Warn winch, strategically placed for better rock-crawling performance. The flat fender flares on the Birdcage have integral removable daytime running light covers for those who may require more tire clearance for more intense off-road situations.
